You may want to rename your thread title.

Either intentionally belligerent or completely tone deaf.

Having a minor in Krautish, having studied there for a year, loving the people and the culture, I do feel a tad entitled. It's no different than them calling me a Yank. They were never offended; if you are, that may be your issue.

Different coaches (Röhler is coached by Harry Schwuchow, Vetter by Boris Henry and Hofmann by Lutz Klemm). But they are all in the national javelin squad (with Boris Henry as the national javelin coach), so they do most of their training camps together.

BTW: I think Kraut is not Roseanne level offensive, but I'd still prefer not to be called that

Then I retract it and thank the thread title editor.

                          "Ein glas hell-braun, bitte"

                          *doesn't throw 90m*

                          "na ja, ein anderes bitte"

Throws meet was in Offenburg, Germany, not to be confused with Offenberg, a hamlet in eastern Bavaria comprising 66 houses surrounding the Schloss Offenberg.
Curiously, I could not locate a running track anywhere in Offenburg (of Offenberg) but there is a large grassy unmarked Stadion in Offenburg.

Spoke too soon. Found the track, mile north of Stadion...looks more practical for javelin throw
