The 400's, in all their permutations, ruled the day!
(And could very well continue with the women tomorrow!!)

    Norman----CR
    Benjamin--CR
    4X400R----CR

Also some of the fastest 400's in history, Collegiate or not!!

Bodes well for Lynna Irby, Kendall Ellis, GoSydGo and 4x4s.

With 2 sophomores, a freshman and a junior, they certainly look good to return with relative progress.

Any bets on whether Norman and Benjamin strike while the fire is hot and turn pro like soon? How much money could they make on this summer's Diamond League circuit? Neither has anything more to prove at USC next year and, like every other athlete, they are one pulled muscle away from getting nothing!Wonder how much $$ Y. Blake has lost out on the last 2 seasons?

Great meet, strange meet. Amazing one-lap times on a track not always considered great for one-lap times. 4x400, 4x100, 400, 400h, all meet records and the 400m and 400h all-time marks. The 100,200, 110h all average times. Strange and fun. Hoping we get the same thing Saturday.

Must be some sort of “final meet at Hayward” magic.

Sign the contracts before you jog across the street.

Andrew Valmon 44.5, Quincy Watts 43.6, Butch Reynolds 43.23, Michael Johnson 42.94

I still don't quite see it.

Norman split 43.0 two wks ago & Benjamin just split 43.7 in the rain, 40min after running 47.02. Lol.

Like TM71 said, Benjamin, Kerley, Lyles & Norman looks good to me.

How much interest has Lyles shown in running a full lap?

I think that we need two more solid sub 44 guys to even think about the 4x400 WR.
