One of the best stories of the first round is the performance of Arkansas Little Rock in having the fastest time in the West. Great job by Milton Williams in bringing together a group of guys that were not on anyone's blue chip list and making them in to a great relay. Certainly no guarantee they get to the finals in a field this tough but they are one of the feel good stories of the meet.

        Question---
Why is TCU's 38.04 in 1998 not listed as the Meet Record?
        They have it as 38.23.

Third leg took off too soon, so they ran out of the zone, then gave up.

Didn't complete the second exchange (I think it was the 2nd). Didn't drop it, 2 never got to 3.

DJG, I just thought of a way to measure 4x100 passing efficiency that I've never heard mentioned before that should be pretty definitive. How about measuring the time difference between the time the incoming runner enters the zone to the time the outgoing runner leaves the zone? Top men's teams should be under 2.0s and women's teams should be under 2.2s according to my math.

Is the NCAA staying with 20m zones? When does the new rule go into the effect?
