  • Clayton Murphy update.

Glad to see Clayton Murphy coming out of his slump. After his Pre Invite mile in 3:53.4 (just ahead of Centro) and the 54 closer for the 3:40.2 win in Portland, he's looking better.

Personally I think his best event is the 1500m, so glad to see him doing the longer event this season. Will be interesting to see how he does at USATF and then the Golden League and other possible European races this summer.

Salazar said something related to the fact Clayton has done a lot of 1500 training in the last months. He also said his speed would come back once he starts working heavily on it. Last races were in the right direction, I am looking forward to watching him running NCs and to see if he can contend for the title. Then off to Europe and drop a 1.44 here or there.
