    Re: NBC Wins

Now NBC just needs to get some different (competent) people to cover track and field.

cbs is the worst of all three top networks covering the olympics including track and field meets. fox has never done it. abc has been doing worse and worse recently now that the discontinued the wide world of sports. at least nbc can put a lot of the "low key" sports on the other channels (msnbc, cnbc, telemundo) which could free up more time for track and field in prime time.

Great. Now we'll get to hear how Amy Acuff really loves knitting, but won't get to see a single one of her jumps.

    NBC Wins

I agree that it probably doesn't matter which U.S. network gets the rights, but it would be hard for ABC or Fox to be any worse than NBC.
