Maybe its just me, but choosing a team doesn't seem as hard as I thought. Granted, final results may tell me otherwise....

Avoid the loaded events? Like the men's Jav, and 110H,HJ.

My winning team is lodged. Must try and remember to do a last minute check before the team changes closes in case of last minute withdrawals. Got burnt several times last year because of that.

After lodging my team I did a sneak check to see what others had chosen for their team. It appears that most people, including me, have chosen Samba as Captain. That is a sensible choice as (1) I think it is a given the MR will go, (2) the 400mh is the event most likely to result in a WR.

I think both Samba and Rai will smash the MR, and in fact both could break the WR. While I chose Samba as captain I also hedged by bets and also chose Rai for my team.
