There is a neat video of that LJ comp somewhere. Looked like a large crowd!

Elaine Thompson looking a bit better here with a 22.40....but Naser even better in second place, in another new PB of 22.56, ahead of Okagbare and Lalova!

janky, like sketchy, poor, unreliable, badly planned, not run well. Basically crap meet.

That's not good news. The IAAF World Indoor Championships are in Nanjing next March. Let's hope they get their shit together by then.

It's a brand new meet, though, isn't it? Maybe we should cut them at least a little bit of slack.

Absolutely. But I assume they've had meets there before--not every meet is designated a World Challenge meet. I could be wrong, but i'd be surprised if it's a "brand new" meet.

I certainly wish them well next year.

Nanjing hosted the youth Olympics back in 2014 and some China Nationals and Asian games before that. Can't find anything else note worthy aside from those. I'll likely be at world indoors next year so will be interesting to see how they do hosting the meet.
