This has got to be Cockrell's year being that its the weakest year for the 400H in NCAA probably in the last 20 years. Cockrell came into College running 55 low out of high school and has not PRd in this event since being at USC which is very unusual. There is not many if any in the field who could run 55 low. Would be a shame if this golden opportunity for Cockrell is lost.

Technically her PR comes at the end of her Freshman season at the USATF meet. Last year she wasn't going to win and was doing multiple duty for USC at the NCAA meet. This year she hasn't lost a 400H race and hasn't been tested but will do multiple duty again in service to her team.

As an aside, can someone tell me why they put hurdles in lane 1 for the semi's?
