Brown over Green. (It's all about the colors.)
    Mu will be interesting!

If Mu is as motivated as she was in that indoor 600, and the pace is not too fast at the start, she could break 2:00.00, even if barely (for which, even if barely, could break Cain's HSR). She ran 2:01.38 at the beginning of June.

not a PR for Mu, but only 6 other preps have ever run faster

Racing the elite women certainly seems to bring out the best in Mu.

Two of them - Wilson and Watson - have also qualified for the semi.

I can definitely see Mu taking the third slot.

OK . . . Now I find out that C Brown has had a stress reaction (precedes fracture) in the last month. Shame!

Me too, but which one shows up for the final? She has the talent but certainly not the experience (not that that retarded li'l Mary Decker's rise to fame).

Just realised only three have the standard, so if the race is slow, the race will not matter. If the race is fast though, getting fourth is extremely important because Wilson has a huge shot in winning the DL.

Come to think of it, if none of the other 5 get the standards in the finals, and Wilson gets a bye, will usatf sent Brown to Doha? Since Brown is ranked 9th and she has the standard.

Here we go again. We just saw a WR in the rain. Can Mu break 2:00.00 here?

Top 3 picks hold. Mu's gas tank ran dry at the top of the stretch. :-( 5th in 2:01.17. Next year, she'll be as strong in this event as she is in the 400.
