I always find it frustrating that the live results are so far ahead of the NBC stream (about 40 seconds in the shot at this point)

22.10 on second throw; on quick peek, only the second time he's had a pair of 22m throws in same series, and on the previous occasion ('18 World Indoor) he had 3.

            Kovacs throwing pretty well too!

Women's TJ opens strong in 1st round with Orji, Rojas and Povea all over 14.50 (47-7), with Povea leading with a near-PR 14.75.

PR in the TJ for Orji! 14.72 (48-3 1/2) surpasses her Rio mark by 1cm and closes gap ever so slightly on Franklin's AR! In 3rd now as 4th round continues...

An amazing 17.08 SP by Kevin Mayer. A PB by 57 cm!

The men’s pole vault had an anomaly, as Sam Kendricks passed the opening height!

I'm now convinced we are never going to get the 2015 Schippers back.

That looks correct. I was a bit disappointed the American women lost to her.

A big of clueless announcing. The NBC SportsGold guys talked about what a great crowd it was. Almost full, they said, totally ignoring the fact that the entire upper deck along the home straight was closed off and consisted entirely of empty seats.

at this point I'd suggest she should put all her eggs in the 200 basket
