in terms of sprints both Coleman and lyles will break the American records in the 100 and 200.

Michael Norman if not for his illness earlier in the season i say would have gone sub 43, but a new American record could be on the cards?.

They have A/C at track level. Not quite a furnace.

I saw somewhere, on this board I think, that 10C is the most that they can cool the stadium relative to outdoors. I do not know if this is correct, if it is for the stands (warmer?) or the track, etc. How much lower will the dew point be; hopefully they will lower the dew point by about the same, but taking moisture out of the air is hard as it equilibrates rapidly, I think (maybe not as quickly as temperature) because you are reversing boiling water, which is 500 times more energetic than changing the water temperature 1 degree (C I presume).

I don’t know what the exact winning times will be but the distance races will be A LOT slower, I wouldn’t be surprised if the 5K is as slow as the 1340 at the London OG.

I don’t see any way the 5 and 10 go that fast on either side. It’s just not the right conditions. Also DT in dead air will have a hard time getting out that far.

I was thinking Africans will be fine . . . and Stahl and the top 3 women have thrown that far in many conditions.
