      For a moment, it might have looked that way. Except that he knew that backstraight was the point where Vázquez would eventually crap out. He did the very thing Ajee didn't, which was to open it up and put a big-enough gap between him and the field, and dare them to catch him. That seems to be the way to go when you're barely in front with 300 to 350m to go.

          He didn't do particularly well under Salazar, he should come back with coach Lee Badie (not sure the spelling is correct) who brought him to 1.42...

            • One underrated moment was when Tuka saw the race getting away from him and pulled from the pack to begin a lonely chase. Brazier was gone but the silver was won in that decision not hang out with Rotich and Murphy.
