For what it's worth, for the 16 athletes who finished the event, the average difference between the actual scores and my initial projected scores is 94 points, or 1.49%.

So would only lose about 24 pts and would still be 6th all time and GBR record holder.
Youve a bee in your bonnet about this Powell, and have always been a wee bit negative about KJT's ability. Time to let it go, let it goooo

I think Powell's point was about egregiously poor marking. That should be a concern for every fan.

Thanks for your posts and projections I really enjoyed them. I like how they're realistic projections and more on the conservative side. Often when multi eventers get compared its based on pb's. Partly I suppose that's due to the limited amount of hepts/decs people do a year but equally a pb might be far off your sb, and depending on when the sb was made you may not be in that form at a different point n the season especially in a weird season like this year when the champs is so late.
