I picked Price to lose to ZW and Berry to lose to Kopron, just to jinx the furriners!!

I hope Andersen rises to the task and pulls the upset.

It would be a major upset for the US NOT to medal this time. I still say only one US woman, will, though, with Price by far the most likely candidate.

I see only one American in the top 5:
          1) Wang, 2) Price, 3) Tavernier

I bravely predict not all Americans will make it through qualifying.

I think we should all savor the moment.
Americans are picked to finish 1-3-4.
That's been a long, long time coming.
A medal would be the icing on the cake.

Just noticed American collegian Stamatia Scarvelis competing for Greece!

'A' qualifying through 1 round ... Berry had a foul and Anderson middle of the pack at 66m+ ... hoping our USA athletes step up!

Berry should be safe with her 71.72 in second round.

Big drop from SB for Brooke Andersen (76.75m to 68+). Anyone know what's up?

She was an Iron Wood TC athlete, I believe, and I imagine it's been a hard week for those folks with Jarred Rome's passing. Don't know how much that impacted her throwing, but may have done so.

Now to see how Price does in Group B. We could still put two on the podium.

One and done with a very solid 73.77.

Price is looking like the real deal. Nice change compared to past WH teams.
