I can't believe that Stef will lose or that Sandi won't medal. But then again . . .

Yep, I keep thinking "this" meet (insert current Diamond League or championship) will be the one where Morris returns to form. Maybe this will be it.

Incredibly disappointed to have no field event streams for the prelims this year. Can't believe we are so aggressively moving backwards as a sport.

Blah blah blah I know back in the day you all had to wait for results in the newspaper.

It is 2019, we have camera crews at both pole vault pits, and the people in power have made a conscious decision NOT to make their footage available to the fans.

It doesn't bode well for following the multis, either. Not to mention that they scheduled them to run concurrently over 2 days.

Also, not seeing live results from this. Or am I being thick? They have flashed a few results when they cutaway.

14 women clear at 4.60 already.

Who is 'we'? Over here we do get live stream at least from field events with Polish participation.

17 make the final! Obviously it's a good facility for vaulters.

Had the Q mark been set higher, we would have seen a few women missing out with 4.60 at least.

with 17 advancing no huge surprise that the entire formchart made it

A few years ago it was quite common to set a Q mark that ended in 5 but go up in 10s and then progress to the Q height only if required.

Then again you could have 17 over 4.60, put the bar at 4.65 and still have 14 or 15 in the final due to ties at the bottom end of the qualifying.
