    • I'm expecting Asher-Smith to win. She might not even have to break 22.00 to win. If others get caught in a scrum, Lalova-Collio (probably her last chance) could steal a medal if she's in shape to run her PR (22.32, 4 years ago), and no one else approaches their PR.

            • Well done! Two of the three medalists PR'd to do it...so that's hard (for me) to complain about.

              Happy for the Swiss lady.

                    • Damn. Why am I emotional?

Champion of the World, DAS. Well deserved.

Happy for Kambundji, her 1st individual medal at a major.

                        Aye! Just rounded down.

                        • just so the tech side is clear: there's no "rounding" involved.

the initial time that comes up is an eyebeam; the official time (usually 0.01 faster) comes off the camera.

Didn't Kambundji win an indoor World Champs medal?

                            • As a fan, it would be really hard to cheer against DAS no matter what country you personally root for. Very classy. Despite the absences of the other top names, she deserves all the credit in the world - I don't think anyone, except SMU, was going to be beating her tonight.

                              • She would have won this race if none of the ladies dropped out. Aside from SMU, DAS showed she is the clear #2 200m runner in the world.

Also, why did the M200m get a light show but not the ladies? Did they figure the it was a waste of time, money and resources since no one is in the stadium anyway?
