    Ivan Heshko of Ukraine. 3:37.07 PR coming into this year. Now, 4 days apart, has run 3:33.67 and 3:33.91. At age 23.

    sounds decent but as a breakthrough u mean as american or overall? for an american that would b great i supose but for the world no

      How has his progress been over the last 3 years or so? If he's been dropping at a good rate, maybe he's one to look out for. Not enough info. But it is a good drop. Did he beat some "names" in either race? If they were tactical affairs, the times bode well for continued development.

            His 3:46 at 17 isn't bad. Steady progress. Some of our US runners should take note and heart.

              If he were an East African, his federation would claim he was 17 - 18 years old.

                Yeah, he could be on the Kenyan Jr. squad for another year or so from what I've seen.
