Re: Creatine?
Yah and only live at sea level, only drink water, and eat PB&J sandwiches! Oh... and no vitamins! There are lots of training aids some are banned and some aren't. Lumping legal aids with illegal aids is an extreme over simplification of the issue.

Re: Creatine?
and no aspirin neither...
no altitude sim chambers to sleep in neither...
this raises an interesting question...
clesrly, there using anabolic steroids or epo represent areas of advantage and cheating...
and then their are some very blurred areas, being born and growing up at altitude has a clear benefit...
But ultimately, you have to train very hard to achieve excellence...
if you lack talent, no amount of cheating will get you into and olympic final..
if you have talent, the little extra edge to put you over the top...
that's where the moral questions come into play..
with advancing science, this clear distinction between fair and cheating will be ever more problematical and very subjective

Re: Creatine?
Creatine for a 200'400 runner isnt a bad idea. The only problem with most creatine products is getting it into the blood stream. your body has about a 98% natural level of creatine. Getting that last couple percent is key. I know of a guy in Greensboro NC, that has a product from Great Britan that is really good. Email me if you would like the name.
