What is going on with Ja' Warren HOOKER ?...

This eclectic sprinter seemed to be among the
greatest hopes a few years ago.
He has never seemed to confirm his international
potential. I have read he'd been seriously
injured these last years.
I remember he made a terrific cover of a T&F
News issue.
What happened to Reggie TORIAN who seemed to
be irresistible in the late nineties?
Will Dabryan BLANTON run at the NCAA champs?

Not sure about the other questions, but Blanton is running at NCAA's, yes.

It'll be interesting to see if he can back up his American Junior Record over 100 with something in Sacramento. Other than his 10.07 AJR, his next best legal time this year is 10.25.

From what I've seen I think his coaching is suspect. A young coach that is more concerned with self promotion rather than having a good knowldege base. Hooker has not been consistantly competing in any one event. Once he gets a coach with knowledge that is equivalent to his ego then maybe mr Hooker will reach his potential.

Young coach? I thought he was being coached by Orin Richburg, formerly of Washington? Orin definetly knows his stuff.
