    Re: Gabe vs. Webb

Looking at Webb's body composition , it appears he is at 7-8% body fat. Using the "Pose Running Method" , by doing his daily runs in racing flats and decreasing his body fat to 3-4% , he will be in optimized form for our olympic trials.

      Re: Gabe vs. Webb

I would actually put his body fat composition at 6.58 percent, with Gabe's at 5.32 percent. I think that 4.66 percent is probably optimal, and if they can both get down to that, they should have no problem winning the gold and silver medals in Athens.

FORCING YOU to read it ??? What do you mean ?
I'm tired of Gabe and Webb discussions myself, but when I don't want to read them, I don't - the title of this thread is clear enough...

          Re: Gabe vs. Webb

I agree. Why can't this just be viewed as normal fan interest in the top dogs in the event we csre about? It seems like just mentioning the name Webb is enough to bring the wrath down of half the participants on these boards. Admittedly much of the ground covered is repetitive of previous boards; but hey, we don't all read these threads every day (though some of the critics apparently do . . .) Maybe we write about Webb because there's not that much more of interest in the USA distance running scene? And we don't care about the javelin, shot put, and bulked-up sprinters (damn that Regina)?

              Re: Gabe vs. Webb

Gabe started going down hill after he did not make the Olympic finals in 2000. Since Pyrah made the finals he completely overshadowed Gabe.
