Aw, I wanted it so bad and Texas got so close: 0.3 away from a new national record (they ran 3:26.76)! Oh well, it's still a hell of a way to finish the season. And a second-place team finish: What a nice reward for Bev Kearney after the horrible experience she went through this year. Great job, ladies!

Heck, everyone at the stadium wanted a CR too, but something got in the way: an amazing race!

Richards surely could've run faster, but she made sure she had plenty in reserve in the final straight.
