I manage events (not T&F). All figures made public should be taken with a huge grain of salt...mutiply them by about 60-70% and you'll be closer to the truth.

You should think the other way around: Without being too specific, I've had people "in the know" tell me that official figures are routinely inflated. You'd do better to just eyeball the stands and make your own estimate.

Day 1 -- 5,500 estimated
Day 2 -- 7,100 estimated
Day 3 -- 8,900 estimated
Day 4 -- 10,400 estimated

I'm skeptical until I see official figures. I wasn't there, but did Saturday **really** get 10,000+?

Anyone know what the official attendance was at the championships this weekend?

Which of course, brings up the next question: Any guesses on what the ACTUAL attendance was?
