Can't you accept the fact that the mistake in the 4x100 was just due to human error and not try to overanalyze it?? All this BS about how Felix should've run, or Jones should've been out is just complete nonsense. Do you not have faith in the US relay coaches? I suppose you have a world of experience and expertise more than they do.

Re: Everyone wants to be a relay coach on here
I agree... I also agree with the TV idiots who said that Marion and Lauryn's post-race interview was a very class act. In my view, Marion has dealt with adversity and loss more gracefully than she reacted to victory. She seems to have grown as a person and deserves some respect for that.

Re: Everyone wants to be a relay coach on here
Well said, bigred. This type of thing will happen, no matter the personnel, when practice and relay race experience as a group are at a minimum. No matter if it's high school, college, or world-class, if you put a 4x100 relay team together a month before "show-time", and run just one practice meet, don't be surprised when accidents happen, especially with a neophyte(to the Olympics) like Lauryn Williams.
Too bad, because I think it would have been a damn exciting finish.
