"

It seems like that every decade a new team emerges to the top of the state in distance running. The 80's it was Monroe (Todd Williams and crew), the 90's it was Rockford (Hartman & Ritz) and the 00's have been a battle for that top spot. Milford has (2) 2nd & (1) 1st to Rockford's (2) 1st. But Rockford finished 2nd 3 times in the late 90's to Novi and White Lake. So, team wise they weren't as dominate as Monroe.

So, the water joke moves around the state.
