Kennedy is in excellent shape based on his races over the summer. He trains harder and smarter than most and he got a heaping portion of genetics to go along with his work ethic. It is a truly rare combination. I hope he burns it up in NYC and I think he will. He respects the race and has a good coach. If he does not, he is still one of the best ever from the US. The cards have not always fallen in his favor, but his times and world rankings say it all. Hopefully he can add one more distance to his world class resume.
