225km/h (140MPH) in a 1996 Holden VS Commodore on a dark country road 'roos everywhere, on new years eve, and didnt get a ticket, ( speed limit 100km/h about 62MPH)

next day after i got home from this trip, i sat down and decided i was an absoulte idiot.

My PR is 140mph on a stretch of I 30 between Dallas and Fort Worth after a HHH run. Done in a 95 Porsche 911, which had absolutely amazing top end. <still prefer the 944's handling tho>

What do you mean nothing on the left coast? There's no better way to spend a weekend evening between cross country and indoor track than sitting in the glassed-in club box at the Tijuana dog track. 50 cent bets, a great t-bone steak for $10, and more! All of this only ten minutes away from San Diego. Also, if you need PEDs you can grab some on the way out at any pharmacy on Calle Revolucion. Just follow the teenage bodybuilders.

My parents lived in Canada (Vancouver), but returned to the oul' sod immediately before I was born, so I have a psychological connection with Canada at some level. :-)

I was also in St John's at the time of 9/11, so another root (square?) takes hold.

Can't remember but I may have mentioned one of those at some time in past postings.

Been 195 with my dad in a holden vectra sport. Off the motorway in South Africa. Craziest was 160km/h and we didn't go under 130 for half an hour on the way to a schools rugby game, NO SEATBELTS, winding unlaned road in a 1.8l mini bus.

Never tried it. I try to make it a rule to avoid everything south of Santa Barbara and west of Palm Springs.

PT??

The Mrs. is not legally a Mrs.; we're cohabitating domestic partners or whatever. She likes German cars, while I'm more of a Japanese truck kind of guy at this point. I must say that her current ride is the sweetest driving machine I've ever had regular access to.
