    Re: Men's Results

    Unofficial from

    http://web1.nyrrc.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001792-2.html

    1st Colorado 92
    2nd Wisconsin 96
    3rd Arkansas 206
    4 Butler 249
    5th BYU 274
    6th Stanford 276
    7th Iona 286
    8th Arizona state 323
    9th New Mexico 338
    10th Calpoly 340

If this is true what a day for Colorado. Can't believe Butler is 4th?!?!

Edited for tafnut; I copied and pasted it from the other site didn't even look at spelling. So, I don't know if they did it on purpose but pretty funny though.

Looking at the men's team results listing, Wisconsin was clearly in control at 8K. Colorado came on strong the last 2K. I am suprised by Stanford's low placing. Maybe they lost a few runners from earlier this year.

Colorado wins BOTH men's and women's team races. Wow.

Wasn't much better in the Men's contest 111. How did you do MJD?

Great Lakes Region failed me big time and I wasn't a believer in Butler. Old college rivals couldn't cheer for them.

I'd answer but I'm thinking it's a trick question. Where are any of us from, really?

I am pretty sure he will be running nats up here. At least, this year, the guys get a bit more of a rest than some years where it has been 5 days later.

Do we really have to add insult to injury for the 6th place team's name?

Wish I knew the name of the restaurant so I could make a point of avoiding it if I'm ever in the neighborhhod... what a frustrating way to end an otherwise successful season.

Someone on another site said it was the first time a Canuck won the men's race.

Yes I believe Simon is the first Canadian to ever win NCAA men's cross-country.

Does anybody know which network (ESPN or Foxsports) and when it will be shown on TV ??
