  • 1500 at Super Grand Prix, Switzerland

MAN! that race is stacked with fast runners (except for El G). Jason Lunn is really going to discover how fast he can run a 1500 in this race.

Ok, the race should have been run by now.

How did Lunn do. Lets hope Lunn and other US milers can prevent 2003 being the worst year ever for US milers.

Bring back Jeff Atkinson. Where are the American 3:50 milers!!!!!!

I guess Lunn is a generic sub four minute miler.

(Scouting report on Lunn if his talents were equivalent with a baseball player)

Mr. Lunn is a good semi-pro miler. He will be sent to the AA farm team this summer. Maybe within a few years he will be ready to compete with the big guys. The Keyans at the major leagues are just too much for Lunn to handle right now.

2003 will most likely be remember as a infamous year for US distance runners.

Bring back Jim Spivey, Steve Scott, Jeff Atkinson, Joe Falcon, Steve Holman, and Tim Hacker. The late eighties and early nineties now look like a golden age for US miling.

            What a disgrace!

The weather was pretty poor according to most reports.

Hopefully Lunn gets another shot in decent conditions.

everyone was 3-4 seconds slower than you'd expect ... 5k (Bekele 1st 13:05 or 6) was pretty pedestrial by current standards, too. And so was steeple (8:06, Gary 8:26, Slattery DNS)
