Happy 41st birthday today (Saturday) to Sergey Bubka and a happy 42nd birthday today to Nixon Kiprotich. Two great track and field athletes on the same day one year apart.

A little known fact: Nixon was actually a very astute marathon running advisor. On the subject of proper hydration, for instance, could anyone argue with his suggestion that an athlete should consume pre-race fluids until their urine was "perfectly clear"--?Comment
