Not at all; we owe it to our subscribers to continue to try to enhance the value of their subscription. And take a look at that thread and see if you can figure out which malcontent started it.

Coincidently, i just renewed my subscription today so I'm glad to hear that a few bad apples can't wreck it for everyone else.

i'm not SURE o CAN tell from his POSTING style. But the admission below the initial post sealed it, or is he just claiming credit where credit is not due. He's almost Gollum-like, creepy.

Re: Who Are All The No. 1s This Year?
After thinking about it ..I must say that the bold picks were bold of necessity. All in events that this year left much too much ambiguity ... a perfect prelude to next year..... Thankfully I dont know or need to know where that other message board resides.... nothing really ever changes my friend, new lines for old, new lines for old.

Re: Who Are All The No. 1s This Year?
Triple Jump Françoise Mbango, what????
Obviously, the same criteria is not being used from event to event. Or did you completely forget about indoors? Tatyana Lebedeva indoor WR and WC, 4 of the top 10 outdoor jumps, 5 of top 10 indoor jumps, top 3 jumps of the year, head to head with Mbango 2-2. Mbango only has 1 of the top 10 outdoor jumps and 0 indoors.
It seems there was a reward for some for winning the Olympics while others not. cough.... Baldini cough...

Your case seems to be built exclusively about marks: as noted elsewhere, this is (by far) the least important criterion in the Rankings. What part of Mbango winning both the OG and WC did you not catch?

Mbango didn't win indoor WC she was 6th, Lebedeva won indoor WC and set the WR indoors. The WR seemed to out weigh Olympic gold in the men's 5k Why not here?
Lebedeva also won all meets she was at except 2.
