I see Gatlin is entered for tomorrow's 100 metres in Paris. Can he win or is he not fully fit? Would he have a chance of winning if he was fully fit?

After watching him win the 60 at the World Indoor there seemed little doubt in my mind that he would win both teh 100 and 200 at the World Championships. As to the July 4 version of Paris, nobody knows what will happen until he steps on the track and we see how much fitness he has lost (or how healthy he remains).

He ran 10.32 in the US Trials which would suggest he is not in top shape. Did anyone see the race?

Barely. They ran it on the backstretch in the opposite direction, so those of us on the homestretch close to the finish line just saw one far-off red blur.
