Mr Gyulai, is absolutely correct; I think that the stiffer 4-year ban will definitely make someone think twice before engaging in any illegal substance use/abuse. Then again if substances like THG continues to be manufactured, it will not make any difference. Coach involved in doping offenses should also be punished. They have no place in the sport.

The length of ban will have absolutely NO effect on drug usage IF athletes view drug usage as a prerequisite for competing at the very highest levels, which a very large number of them DO, IMHO.
