Ben never tested positive for Nandro. Stanzolol positive in 88. Excessive testosterone in 93 and then either a diuretic or masking agent in an agent arranged test a few years ago.

The conspiracy theorists basically say the same thing about his 88 bust.

.....and once again i'm not saying that he did help someone cheat, just for the record.

I meant "used" as in "supplied". Sorry for the misunderstanding. I wasn't implying that Ben was on anything at all, but he knows full well how easy nandro can be detected, so you'd think he'd be more careful if he was going to help someone cheat.

Amusing in a poetic justice sort of
    >way.

Apparently, the impact could be a little more serious. Libya is bidding on the World Cup for 2010 and this could have an impact on their chances.

Where does it say anything about Ben using or testing positive for something recently? I read it to say Khadafi was the one who tested positive and that "The 30-year-old former Al Ittihad player EMPLOYED [emphasis mine] disgraced...", meaning that at some point in the past he paid Ben some money to train him for a few months.

I think it'll be funny (and telling) to see how many people say "I told you so! He's a cheat!" about Ben regarding this story, instead of saying things like "Wait for the B sample (then the hearing, then the litigation) before passing judgement", or "We don't know that nandrolone really works anyway, so it's not cheating!", or...

"Saadi Kadhafi, son of the Libyan leader Moamer"

Amusing in a poetic justice sort of way.
