Toth, Jacobs, that Hammer thrower, and
    >Calvin Davis.

Furthermore, are you talking Modafinil positives (as suggested by the thread subject) or THG positives? You seem to list a mixed bag.

Calvin Davis has NOT been named at any point in connection with THG or Modafinil. Please take the time to read our fact or fiction explanation ( http://www.trackandfieldnews.com/tfn/di ... .jsp?id=72 ) or completely educate yourself before dragging someone's name through the mud.

Ben, what about this article that you posted on October 25 in the "Now Calvin" thread?

It states that "Harrison tested positive for the stimulant modafinil when scientists reviewed 350 samples taken at the United States Championships in June."

Calvin DAVIS and Calvin HARRISON are two different people.

Re: When are they going to Suspend tha Athletes for modafini

I've checked with the alphabet soup people, and I'm pretty sure this is how everybody stands at the moment:

Kelli White and Chris Phillips have been officially charged with Modafinil positives from the World Championships. Both these cases are pending arbitration. Should they be found guilty, they will lose that meet, nothing more.

Dwain Chambers has been officially charged with a THG positive from early in August. He is also eligible for arbitration. THG is a 2-year-ban substance, but the IAAF has been making public statements about using the reduced-sentence provision for people who come clean (n pun intended) and provide details on the chain of supply.

Kevin Toth, Regina Jacobs and John McEwen have been reported in newspapers to be THG positives. No governing body has issued any sanction against any of them.

Calvin Harrison was listed in a newspaper story as being a Modafinil positive. He has not been charged by any body, but did say to a newspaper that he had indeed taken it. Since he has a cold-medication violation from his Junior days almost a decade ago, this would apparently be construed as a second strike and result in a 2-year ban.

i THINK that's the sum total of all that can be said with certainty at this point.

Someone should really investigate this sudden increase of narcolepsy in athletes. This could be an epidemic. :-)

Can someone rework this attempt at humor since it's been repeated for the better part of two months?

the attended rumor is the general public finds t&f too boring and given this predilection, a previously undisclosed form of narcolepsy has infected the participant class, thus raising the precipitent need for medication...

                    recent finding from JAMA...

Whoa, sorry, I made two really big mistakes. Yes i meant Harrison and I'm an idiot, he was implicated with modafinil not THG.
