The article says she denies usage, but she is married to Carl Myerscough, who tested positive this past year. Very sad.

        Myerscough's roid-positive was in 2000 (February I believe).

I searched around a bit but couldn't see who coaches her.

"He served his own two-year ban, which expired in 2002, after testing
positive for a cocktail of steroids in 1999."

Needless to say, people who are accused of drug abuses always say they're innocent, as does Price here

                  http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.c ... 49FU31.DTL

What I do find interesting is her CLAIM that she has zero connection with Conte/BALCO. Imagine what a whole new ball of wax the governing bodies are going to have to deal with should that actually be true and the THG routing is off in some unknown corner. Think there'll be a little plea-bargaining going on should that come to pass?

I actually wouldn't be surpirsed if THG wasn't developed somwhere other than BALCO. Even if BALCO does turn out to be the supplier for most of these people they may not even be the ones making the stuff. Heck nearly every university's chemistry department in the US is probably better equipped to make something like THG than BALCO is. If it is someone else who developed the stuff they may have a very difficult time tracking them down.

And since Remy Korchemniy (sp?) has never been named as somebody who has been called before the Balco grand jury investigation, can we assume that the feds aren't even remotely interested in the THG/modafinil situation and when that report is delivered and/or indictments are handed down what we in the track world think is central to the whole investigation won't even get mentioned? Is it possible that we-all have been concentrating on a tiny part of that whole case which isn't even part of the big picture? Inquiring minds want to know!
