SAN FRANCISCO - Barry Bonds received steroids and human growth hormone from a nutritional supplements lab implicated in a steroid-distribution ring, according to information given to federal investigators, the San Francisco Chronicle reported late Monday on its Web site.

They haven't said anything about track atheletes when they do(they eventually will) what will this do to the clients who passed drug tests? Also Bond's dome look downright rediculous he looks like a space alien..........

Note that 5 other baseball players, including Giambi and Sheffield, were named as well, so this is spreading in that sport. Romanowski was named as well.

Today's New York Times had another big article on the subject. A confession: Not too long ago on this board I stated the opinion that nothing much would come of this (steroids in baseball, football). I have to say that so far the media coverage has been considerably more than I had expected. Is it possible that something might actually get done? I've lost a little of my cynicism about the whole thing, but we'll see...
