  • Kapachinskaya B positive

    http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/V3/ ... 1585.shtml

    Like the fabled Seoul '88 men's 100, where virtually all the finalists ended up "dirty" at one point or another, is the Paris women's 200 now falling apart?

    Re: Kapachinskaya B positive

    "Valentin Balakhinchev, head of the Russian track federation, suggested the tests were aimed at hurting the Russian team."

    Easy way around that problem-don't take drugs. Although someone should tell him two things-stanazolol is so eighties and the cold war is over.

      Nice. So if they throw Kelli's result in Paris out they award the Gold to Kapa? What a mess.

          More on the mess(Kapa suspended):

          "In a strange twist, Kapachinskaya,
          who finished second behind Kelli
          White in the 200m at last year's world outdoor championships in Paris,
          will be awarded the gold after the American received a two-year
          suspension for violating anti-doping rules."
