Here is the irony and beauty of what the USADA is about to do.

Until now, athletes held the upper hand by using the legal system to frustrate the authorities.

Now, the authorities are using their own creative techniques to frustrate the athletes.

The same legal techniques used by athletes in the past are about to be uspurped by the authorities.

What the USADA is about to do may not be legal, but it is probably going to be more realistic and potentially fairer to those athletes who don't cheat.

It could get out of hand, but the cheaters have had the upper hand so long, I for one think it is all right for the pendulum to swing a little to the opposite end of fairness in an effort to rob the cheaters of their ultimate goal--Olympic Gold.
