Referring to losing the major names at the OG because of drug scandal:

"The strategy is simple and unavoidable. "You change your coverage," Ebersol said during an interview yesterday with other NBC Sports officials at The New York Times. "You bring up other things instead of covering all the heats of the 100 meters and 200 meters."

I like that better regardless. More field events, more world stars, more underdogs/up-and-comers.

No. The article mentioned that other SPORTS would be covered not the underdogs and up and comers.
