Smith / HSI linked to Balco through document

According to the San Jose paper, a document entitled "Agreement Not to Disclose or Use Confidential and Proprietary Information" has surfaced providing a link between John Smith and Victor Conte (signed by both). A similar document was signed by Ato Boldon a few months later.

Emanuel Hudson, the club's president, denied that any wrong-doing had occurred. But... what's he supposed to say, either way?

The plot thickens?...

Hm-m-m-m-m. If Edwards goes down, the 2003 World Champion at 100m becomes Zhanna Block. No, didn't we read a couple of days ago that she's implicated? So the gold would then go to Chandra Sturrup, who probably wasn't even tested in Paris because she finished only fourth in the race.

This is too much even for me, the cynic.

I actually worked out a chain that skipped all; the way past Flojo (too much suspicion), all the East Germans (you know why), Evelyn Ashford (ran against boys in high school).... got all the way back to.... Stella Walsh.... oh, never mind.

If John Smith and Atto Boldon have signed a non disclosure document, it points to the protection of one particular athlete; Victor Conte's signature implies this non-disclosure is drug related.
