    Suppose they came up with tests so sophisticated that they went back, re-tested and discovered that all eight finalists of the Olympics or World Championships were positive. Then who does the medals go to?

    Boy, these tests must really be sophisticated, if they can on their own volition go back and perform do this analysis. I guess we really are living in the 12st century.

      You forgot to look at the realism of there being samples still kicking around from previous Worlds or Olympics for this sophisticated test. Are there?

        Agreed! In the Dark Ages we went on witch hunts. What's done is done. NOW we have to do something to improve the future. Blood/tissue testing may be the only way to clean up the sport, but how do we get by the lawyers?
