Let's make it clear it isn't just Bonds. I'm forsed to play 'juiced,not jucied' almost every inning I watch. Some I'm probably wrong on. When a player seems always to be injured, that's a sign as well.

hmmm, good point - google turns up many hits on Bonds' hat size increase, but not one is by a recognized media organization. One said, "as reported in newspapers," so I assumed that probably meant the Chronicle, but there was no source given. I take it back. Where's Cecil's Straight Dope, busting urban legends?

Here is an even more elemental question. Can anybody come up with a respectable article that shows that there is any drug legal or illegal that increases skull size? I hae certainly heard of HGH doing things to the jaw hence all the braces rumors but the skull itself????

can't your hat size increase simply from gaining weight in general? extra weight does accumulate in the head toward middle age albeit not as in great quantities as other areas =)

and its not just 'skull' - just as your waist size increases regardless of the bone structure.. obviously to a greater extent than the head but still..
