this has no basis in reality and should be deleted.

the US government did not spearhead a costly and pervasive program to juice its athletes, take anyone who showed talent out of their schools at an early age and 'develop' them, etc

the doping in the U.S. is just due to independent unscrupulous coaches, trainers, and charlatans trying to take advantage of athletes' desire to win, and the weaker athletes giving in to this. it's a financial two way street (more money for the dope chemists, more money for the athlete), and has nothing to do with the US government's desire to dominate the podiums.

if it was a US Govt job, it would have failed miserably under its own weight decades ago

          MJR:

YOU'VE GOT THAT RIGHT!!! Anything government run is a cluster-f*** right from the get-go because it is made up of a large % of people who couldn't survive in the private sector. Demoncraps and Republipukes alike. Thank goodness for their ineffiency in many instances or we'd have another Stalinist Russia under the Demoncraps. This thread ought to be deleted from the get-go because it has absolutely NO basis in fact.
