Re: Who has seen the movie called
Bruce Kidd has become a well-known academic sports historian in Canada - Toronto. He is on the Executive Board of the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) now as well. Good guy. He wrote a nice book a few years back on Tom Longboat, the 1908 Canadian Olympic marathoner who turned pro after the London Olympics.

Who has seen the movie called "Runner"?
In 1962, The National Film Board of Canada released a ten minute movie entitled "Runner" featuring Bruce Kidd with a suporting cast of Coach Fred Foot, David Bailey, Bill Crothers and some of the other members of The East York Track Cub. Many of the scenes were taken at The East York Club's training site at East York Collegiate in Toronto. The short movie ends with a race among runners Bruce Kidd, Laszlo Tabori, Max Truex and a couple of others. Have any of you seen it? The movie is now available on VHS from The National Film Board of Canada at www2.nfb.ca/boutiqueTags: None
