They were born in adjacent states: Moses in Ohio and Hopkins in Pennsylvania.

I always get a kick driving on I-75 through Dayton and seeing the big sign for " Edwin C. Moses Boulevard." Do we have any other major streets named for tracksters anywhere ? Not trivia, just inquiring.

I live just a block from a major boulevard named after either the brother or father of a brief WR-holder in Decathlon. Menaul Blvd(Albuquerque) - James Menaul unofficially set WR before Thorpe broke it in 1912. Maybe the blvd IS named for him.

In Poland Janusz Kusocinski (the 1932 10000 meter Olympic champion) has lots of streets (as well as schools, monuments etc.) named after him.
