I am talking about originating threads. He has started 43 on this forum and you have started 123. How much is enough? We have LO telling us what he thinks is too much.

You disappear for months and when you come back, it's always the same old stuff. Jon has been here all along and posted on a wide variety of subjects. You - not so much. Do you even know what he does for a living?? Suggesting that he doesn't post 'much' is absurd.
Let me try it one more time. Be right back.
Ok finally. I had to go to March of 2005 to find something he originated here on this board.
I rest my case.

Ok Brutal, I got to step in here. I have no problem with you but the race is long. I realize a sprint fan doesn't really understand that but going back 20 pages is like going back 100 yards. The analysis you just did hurts your cred on other topics. Here is the proper analysis. Search by poster Jon by thread and then count threads originated by Jon. Do the same for Brutal. I started to do it and it looks like Jon has about three threads started on each page of the 79 he is on but that is rough and only based on the last 10 pages. That would be 237 threads started. Since you have only posted 272 times, I suspect that I know how the analysis would turn out. Let us know how you make out once you have done a proper analysis.

Brutal: Search found 272 matches
Seems he is a LITTLE ahead of you on the originating threads thingy.
I gave up at 20 pages, yep..."0".

Hey %^(*& we talk distance running hear (sic)...
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read. ... 576&page=0
Originally posted by Someone on LetsrunBrutal has been here, on and off for years. He is a one-note poster, some fool so empty in personality that he presents a "persona" to the internet, much like a Flagpole type. He comes along every few months and makes the exact same post. It's usually titled something like "Ramblin". He throws out a bunch of random thoughts designed to impress on everyone that
1. He listens to the blues.
2. He knows all about obscure black sprinters
3. He listens to the blues
4. He knows about all sorts of black running backs
5. He listens to and loves the blues. No really, he means it. Honest. He's so down with all that
To make sure you understand how "down" he is with all things black, he throws out names both famous and obscure black athletes and muscians of the past. And he's just so familiar with all these guys that he even calls them by their first names. For example, it's not "Jim Brown" the great running back, it's "Jimmy" Brown. Apparently we are supposed to think that he and Brutal are both homeboys from the 'hood.
Do you smell the desperation here?
Every time you see some 16 year old white suburban kid in a mall somewhere trying to impress on you how "down" he is, you'll have the beginnings of the picture. Now age that kid probably 20 years, and you've got it.
How about telling the story right? It does help. I went there talking about the sorry plight of the American distance runner on the world stage. Of course I'm going to get some negative rebuttals. They had no choice but to attack me because they knew I was right. No big deal!
Now show me what "you" got. So far it looks like nothing.
