African American Running History – Marielle Hall

Marielle Hall recently won the national 15k championship.
I believe she is the first American born African American female to win a national road race title.
I’ve contacted Alisa Harvey and Michele Bush to see if they ever won a USATF road title – they’ve responded with a no.
I’ve just emailed Marilyn Bevans to check with her.

I’ve written to the USATF Women and Men LDR Chairs.
I’m looking for a master list/link that would show all the women road race champions since Year 1 for all distances.

I haven’t heard back yet.
I would hope such a list does exists.
If anyone can help me with this search, let me know.

Be safe ~
