i'm looking for a website that lists all the participants in the 1972 olympics, of all sports, not just athletics. thanks for any help.

I don't think that exists on a public website, but we do have the data.

The official Olympic website have the winners of the medals and I think the particpants. They list all of the events and medalists but you need to know the athletes names to look them up.......

It doesn't have all the participants on it yet. The site is www.olympic.org

Go to www.aafla.org - then click on digital archive. This will show you which olympic reports are downloadable. It includes the 64 OG. But be warned, the files are big

I meant of course the 72 OG (though 64 is also available). The 72 OG is split into 3 files - so check which one you;re after
