    does anyone out there know the names of the thrower[s] who threw the shot 70' both gliding and spinning!

    I don't know, but if this was a trivia question I would come up with the following :
    Dave Laut, Aleksander Baryshnikov, August Wolf and Brian Oldfield.

      not a trivea question, just something that came up in a conversation over some BEERS .

        Baryshnikov was always a "spinner" as a 70' putter. I believe Wolf glided the shot out to 67'3: but was a spinner the next year when he threw 71'3 1/2" - ithink the only 2 are

        Oldfield threw 70'10 1/2"/75'0" as a glider/spinner
        Laut threw 70'10"/72'3"

          Thanks richh! I only knew for sure about Laut and Oldfield as glider/spinners but did not know their best "glide" marks.
