  • To Tell the Truth

In lookiing up the Wiki entry for Ray Barbuti (not that I thought he was the answer to the latest birthday quiaz either) I noticed that he appeared on the game show "To Tell the Truth" as a contestent imposter. This reminded me that once I saw Mike Herman on the same show, also as a contestent imposter. They were both New Yorkers. Any other sitings that anyone can recall?

Obviously a common trait for New Yorkers being contestant imposters

Wilma Rudolph was on, not as an impostor, but as the right answer

John Pennel appeared on To Tell the Truth as the right answer. He also apparently appeared on What's My Line as a wine salesman for a career he had taken up.

Carmelita Jeter was on the new version of To Tell The Truth as the right answer. No one picked her as the fastest woman alive.

Though they are not track and field athletes, two Olympic gold medalists who appeared on To Tell the Truth after Munich and were the right answer were wrestler Dan Gable and diver Micki King.
